The village has to be a place you miss before travelling anywhere means anything. Every story carries exactly one lesson, and Kettle always fails first — children this age learn the moral from the mistake, not from a sentence at the end.
The first three are written. The rest are outlined and being written now.
The shape of the film, before the film.
An animatic: twenty-seven shots of The Empty Pot timed end to end, so the pacing can be judged before a single frame is illustrated. Kettle cooks water, serves it proudly, and finally knocks on one door.
This is working footage, not finished animation. The figures are flat blocking stand-ins for timing and staging; the real cut-paper art replaces them shot by shot. It is here because it is honestly where the film is, and there is no soundtrack on it yet — the dialogue shows as captions.
